A letter from the owner.

(and dedication)

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to come to our site!

I came up with the original design for the "Re-new" Bird Toy shortly after we purchased our very first Buttons2.jpg (31190 bytes) Macaw. She was a 4 year old blue and gold named Buttons.  I discovered veryButtons1.jpg (17006 bytes) early on not only was she a clown and a comic. She also had an insatiable appetite for toys, furniture and anything else she could get her beak on! At the time we brought her home I was working at a wonderful family owned pet store in Spokane, WA. Being there gave me the opportunity as a new parrot owner to compare notes with other owners who came to the store to buy food, supplies, bird toys and visit.

Overall their #1 complaint was the cost of bird toys and frequency that they had to buy them.

At the time I had four children and could easily appreciate what my customers were telling me. I was just as cost conscious as they were!

I designed the "Re-new" to meet a specific need. To provide exotic bird owners with a high quality toy at affordable prices.  Something that I myself would buy. This is a very exciting time for us, as we find ourselves growing and meeting fantastic bird owners not only in the United States but around the world as well. The internet is a such wonderful thing, we are now on Ebay too! Meeting even more people there as well.

I hope that you find yourself as pleased with our toys as we are bringing them to you. It is a pleasure meeting you this way.

I am now happily remarried and the mother of five beautiful children!

Buttons2.jpg (31190 bytes)We lost Buttons in a custody battle between my ex-husband and myself when we divorced in 1994. (I was granted custody of our four children, he got her as part of the property settlement.) Eventually  he sold her to a past customer of the store that I had worked for. They did not keep her long due to severe health issues that she had developed after leaving us. Efforts to find her and get her back failed as she passed from owner to owner till there were no other leads left to follow. At the children's request this page is dedicated to her memory. Someday when we find the right bird we shall add another one to our family. Till then we hold her in our hearts and forever in our thoughts. "Buttons" we will never forget you!
